HOLIDAY RENTAL LICENCE



Documents Required to Register for your Holiday Rental Licence:

- Copy of the Declaration of the Beginning or Alteration of Activity at the Tax Office in Portugal

- Identification Document & Fiscal Number of the owner(s)

- Copy of the Property Tax Document (Caderneta)

- Copy of Habitation Licence

- Copy of the Rental Contract IF operated by a third party

 

Requirements:

- Installations and equipment must be in good working order

- Connection to mains water or to a duly certified private source

- Connection to mains sewage or to a septic tank in accordance with the maximum capacity of the Establishment

- Running Hot and Cold water

- Have the necessary furnishing, equipment and utensils

- Have shutters or similar

- The holiday accommodation must be kept to a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all times

- Fire extinguisher on each floor

- Fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the kitchen

- Easily accessible First Aid kit

- Indication of the National Emergency Number (112) in clearly visible area

- Official Complaints Book
